  1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, platforms, tools, assessments, learning-based virtual internship programs, mentorship services, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”) operated by Welcome Intern Pte Ltd (“Welcome Intern,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.

 

  1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

“Intern” means any individual enrolled in a Welcome Intern program who participates in structured, learning-based virtual internship experiences for educational and skill-development purposes.

The term Intern does not imply employment, worker status, contractor status, compensation, or any hiring obligation, regardless of program duration, track, or activities.

 

  1. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction; or
  • Have verifiable parental or guardian consent where legally required.

By enrolling in any program, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

 

  1. Nature of Services

Welcome Intern provides:

  • Structured learning-based virtual internship programs
  • Career readiness tools and assessments
  • Mentorship and professional development experiences
  • Project-based learning and collaboration environments

The Services are designed for education, skill development, and career readiness purposes only.

 

  1. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Welcome Intern does not guarantee:

  • employment or hiring
  • job offers or compensation
  • internships with specific employers
  • career advancement or placement outcomes

Participation in programs does not guarantee employment opportunities.

 

  1. Non-Recruitment & Non-Placement Disclaimer

Welcome Intern:

  • is not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, or placement service
  • does not sell candidates, resumes, or talent access
  • does not charge hiring or placement fees
  • does not require employers to hire Interns

Participation in Welcome Intern programs does not create any obligation for employment or hiring.

 

  1. No Employment Relationship

Participation in the Services does not create an employment, contractor, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between:

  • Welcome Intern and Interns
  • Interns and employers
  • Interns and mentors
  • Welcome Intern and employers or mentors

All program activities are educational and learning-focused, unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.

 

  1. Account Registration & Responsibilities

Certain Services require account registration.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate, complete, and current information
  • maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
  • notify us promptly of unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

 

  1. Acceptable Use of the Platform

You agree not to:

  • provide false or misleading information
  • impersonate another individual or organization
  • upload unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content
  • attempt to interfere with platform security or operations
  • distribute malware or harmful software
  • harvest or scrape user data
  • use the Services for unauthorized commercial or competitive purposes
  • send unsolicited commercial communications or spam

Welcome Intern reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

 

  1. Virtual Internships, Projects & Mentorship

Learning-Based Internships

All internships offered through Welcome Intern:

  • are virtual and educational in nature
  • may include project deliverables or assessments
  • provide developmental feedback, not employment evaluations

Program structure, timelines, and evaluation criteria may vary by track.

Mentors & Employers

Mentors, employers, and partner organizations are independent third parties.

They are not employees, agents, or representatives of Welcome Intern.

Welcome Intern does not control or guarantee their actions, decisions, or outcomes.

Interactions are limited to educational, mentorship, or project-based engagement.

 

  1. Certificates of Completion

Where applicable, Welcome Intern may issue digital certificates or program acknowledgments upon successful completion of program requirements.

Certificates recognize educational participation only and do not represent professional licensing, accreditation, or employment qualifications.

 

  1. Fees, Payments & Refunds

Where applicable:

  • program fees will be disclosed prior to enrollment
  • payments are processed through third-party payment providers
  • fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise

Welcome Intern reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

All platform content, including:

  • program materials
  • assessments
  • branding and trademarks
  • logos and platform design
  • software and functionality

are the intellectual property of Welcome Intern or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

 

  1. Intern Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including:

  • resumes
  • portfolios
  • project submissions

By submitting content, you grant Welcome Intern a limited license to:

  • host
  • process
  • display
  • use the content to provide and improve the Services.

You represent that you have the legal right to submit such content.

 

  1. AI-Powered Tools

Welcome Intern may provide AI-powered tools, such as career assistants, learning tools, or assessment features.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs are informational and advisory only
  • outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate
  • you remain responsible for decisions based on AI outputs

Users must not submit sensitive personal data through AI tools.

 

  1. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which governs:

  • personal data collection and processing
  • international data transfers
  • your privacy rights under applicable laws
  1. Confidentiality

Certain information shared during mentorships, projects, or partnerships may be confidential.

You agree:

  • not to disclose confidential information without authorization
  • to use such information solely for program participation purposes.
  1. Platform Availability

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Welcome Intern does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation of the platform.

Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may temporarily affect availability.

 

  1. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Welcome Intern disclaims all warranties, including:

  • fitness for a particular purpose
  • accuracy or completeness of content
  • uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Services.
  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Welcome Intern shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for the relevant Service.

 

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Welcome Intern from claims arising from:

  • your use of the Services
  • violation of these Terms
  • infringement of third-party rights.
  1. Suspension & Termination

Welcome Intern may suspend or terminate access to the Services:

  • for violation of these Terms
  • for security or compliance reasons
  • where required by law

Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

 

  1. Modifications to Services or Terms

Welcome Intern may modify or discontinue Services or update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated via the platform or website.

Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

 

  1. Force Majeure

Welcome Intern shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • natural disasters
  • internet outages
  • governmental actions
  • infrastructure failures
  • other force majeure events.
  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws.

 

  1. Regional Compliance

Nothing in these Terms limits rights under applicable laws, including:

  • India Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
  • GDPR (EU/UK)
  • applicable consumer protection laws
  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Welcome Intern regarding the Services.

They supersede all prior agreements or understandings relating to the Services.
