About the Role
The Intern Ambassador is Welcome Intern’s official student ambassador who represents Welcome Intern and supports student engagement initiatives and career acceleration programmes within their university community.
Intern Ambassadors help connect students with professional development opportunities, encourage participation in learning initiatives, and contribute to building an engaged and supportive student community.
This flexible remote role is designed to complement students’ academic commitments while providing opportunities to develop leadership, communication, networking, stakeholder engagement, and community-building experience.
Intern Ambassadors work collaboratively with the Welcome Intern team under the guidance of an assigned Community Engagement Manager or Mentor to support agreed outreach and engagement objectives.

- Working Schedule: Flexible
- Expected Commitment: Approximately 4–8 hours per week (Academic Priority: This flexible role is designed to complement students’ academic commitments. Academic responsibilities should always take priority.)

Key Responsibilities
Student Community Engagement
- Represent Welcome Intern professionally within your university and approved online platforms.
- Build meaningful relationships with fellow students.
- Encourage participation in professional development activities, learning opportunities, and student engagement initiatives.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative student community.
- Serve as a positive representative of Welcome Intern in all interactions.
Campus Outreach & Community Awareness
- Support approved campus outreach activities in accordance with institutional policies.
- Share official announcements, webinars, educational resources, and events.
- Participate in information sessions, student club collaborations, networking activities, and community initiatives.
Digital Engagement & Communications
- Share approved Welcome Intern information, educational resources, and learning opportunities through responsible digital engagement.
- Share official announcements and communication materials using approved channels.
- Encourage positive online engagement while maintaining professional communication standards.
Community Feedback & Insights
- Gather constructive feedback from students.
- Share insights with the Welcome Intern team.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen engagement.
Partnership Development
- Build relationships with student clubs, societies, entrepreneurship communities, innovation hubs, and campus organisations.
- Support collaborative initiatives that increase participation.
- Expand Welcome Intern’s presence through ethical and professional engagement.
