These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, platforms, tools, assessments, learning-based virtual internship programs, mentorship services, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”) operated by Welcome Intern Pte Ltd (“Welcome Intern,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.

 

  1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

“Intern” means any individual enrolled in a Welcome Intern program who participates in structured, learning-based virtual internship experiences for educational and skill-development purposes only.

The term “Intern” does not imply employment, worker status, contractor status, compensation, or any hiring obligation, regardless of program duration, track, or activities.

 

  1. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction; or
  • Have verifiable parental or guardian consent where legally required.

By enrolling in any program, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

 

  1. Nature of Services

Welcome Intern provides:

  • Structured, learning-based virtual internship programs
  • Career readiness tools and assessments
  • Mentorship and professional development experiences
  • Project-based learning and collaboration environments

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Welcome Intern does not guarantee:

  • Employment or hiring
  • Job offers or compensation
  • Internships with specific employers
  • Career advancement or placement outcomes

All programs are designed for education and career readiness, not employment.

 

  1. Non-Recruitment & Non-Placement Disclaimer

Welcome Intern:

  • Is not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, placement service, or employment intermediary
  • Does not sell candidates, resumes, or talent access
  • Does not charge hiring or placement fees
  • Does not require employers to hire Interns

Participation in Welcome Intern programs does not guarantee or obligate employment, internships, or job offers.

 

  1. No Employment Relationship

Participation in the Services does not create any employment, contractor, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between:

  • Welcome Intern and any Intern
  • Interns and employers
  • Interns and mentors
  • Welcome Intern and employers or mentors

All activities are educational and learning-focused, unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.

 

  1. Account Registration & Responsibilities

Certain Services require account registration.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us promptly of unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

 

  1. Intern Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or impersonated information
  • Upload unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content
  • Attempt to interfere with platform security or operations
  • Use the Services for unauthorized commercial, competitive, or exploitative purposes

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

 

  1. Virtual Internships, Projects & Mentorship

Learning-Based Internships

  • All internships are virtual, educational, and learning-based
  • Deliverables, timelines, and evaluation criteria vary by track
  • Feedback and assessments are developmental, not employment evaluations

Mentors & Employers

  • Mentors and employers are independent third parties
  • Welcome Intern does not control or guarantee their actions, decisions, or outcomes
  • Interactions are limited to educational, project-based, or mentorship purposes
  1. Fees, Payments & Refunds

Where applicable:

  • Fees are disclosed prior to enrollment
  • Payments are processed through third-party providers
  • Fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in writing

Welcome Intern may modify pricing with prior notice.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

All platform content, including:

  • Program materials and assessments
  • Branding, trademarks, and logos
  • Platform software, design, and functionality

are the intellectual property of Welcome Intern or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

 

  1. Intern Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., resumes, portfolios, project submissions).

By submitting content, you grant Welcome Intern a limited license to:

  • Use, host, process, and display such content
  • Deliver Services and improve platform functionality

You represent that you have the right to submit such content.

 

  1. AI-Powered Tools

Welcome Intern may offer AI-powered tools (e.g., career assistants, assessments).

You acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs are informational and advisory only
  • Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate
  • You remain responsible for decisions based on AI outputs

You must not submit sensitive personal data through AI tools.

 

  1. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which governs:

  • Personal data collection and processing
  • International data transfers
  • Your rights under applicable laws (PDPA, GDPR, DPDP Act, etc.)
  1. Confidentiality

Certain information shared during mentorships, projects, or partnerships may be confidential.

You agree:

  • Not to disclose confidential information without authorization
  • To use such information solely for program participation
  1. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Welcome Intern disclaims all warranties, including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy or completeness of content
  • Continuous or error-free operation
  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Welcome Intern shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for the relevant Service
  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Welcome Intern from claims arising out of:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your infringement of third-party rights
  1. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access:

  • For violation of these Terms
  • For security, compliance, or legal reasons
  • At our discretion, with or without notice where permitted by law

Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

 

  1. Modifications to Services or Terms

We may modify or discontinue Services or update these Terms at any time.

Material changes will be communicated via the platform or website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

 

  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws.

 

  1. Regional Compliance

Nothing in these Terms limits rights under:

  • India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
  • GDPR (EU/UK)
  • Applicable consumer protection laws
