Role Overview
We are looking for Intern Ambassadors (Remote) who can represent Welcome Intern, support students, and help coordinate projects across virtual teams.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing communication, timelines, and basic deliverables in a fully online environment.
Key Responsibilities

Represent Welcome Intern across social media and digital platforms, spreading awareness and excitement.

Share the latest program updates and internship opportunities with your student community.

Serve as a first point of contact—answering questions and guiding students to the right resources.

Host or support virtual info sessions, webinars, and online engagement events.

Gather student feedback and insights to help improve programs and outreach efforts.
- Coordinate with Mentors and Track progress, manage risks, and resolve issues proactively.

Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Submit regular / weekly status updates without delay.

Maintain project documentation and reports.
- Continuous improvement in all areas to Improve workflows processes.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong Written Communication: Ability to craft engaging social media posts, clear informational emails, and concise responses to student inquiries.
- Verbal Communication & Public Speaking: Confidence to speak clearly and engagingly during virtual info sessions, webinars, and one-on-one interactions.
- Active Listening & Empathy: The ability to truly hear student questions and concerns in order to provide helpful guidance and gather accurate feedback.
- Approachability: Being perceived as open and friendly so students feel comfortable using you as a “first point of contact.”

Digital Fluency & Social Media Savvy

- Social Media Management: Understanding the nuances of different platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, campus networks) and how to tailor content for each to generate “excitement.”
- Basic Content Creation: The ability to create visually appealing posts or engaging short videos to promote opportunities.
- Virtual Platform Proficiency: Comfort with hosting or supporting events on platforms like Zoom, MS Teams, or Google Meet (managing breakout rooms, Q&A functions, screen sharing).
